Can I visit in a wheelchair?
Yes! You are always welcome to visit in a wheelchair. We recommend that you visit on a quieter day to make navigating our venue easier.
Please contact us for advice on when and how best to book.
Some of our trail content (clues and information) may be out of reach for wheelchair users, such as on walls or elevated surfaces - this is due to the nature of the building and cannot be changed. We recommend visiting with somebody to enable you to interact with all elements of Phantom Peak.
The majority of trail content takes place on the ground floor. Via our web app ‘JonAssist’, you will be asked whether you can navigate tight spaces. If you answer no, you should not be asked to go upstairs. If you are, you can always ask at the Tourist Information Centre for more information. There are 10 trails available, and guests usually complete 2-3 per session. Some add on experiences are not accessible due to the nature of tasks required, such as climbing through a dark and small maze upstairs.
Please contact us prior to your visit to discuss your options.
